The Notting Hill Carnival

The Notting Hill Carnival is an annual Caribbean parade that takes place every August in West London. The event gets bigger and better with every passing year, featuring twenty miles of crazy outfits, forty live music stages, a massive steel band contest, lots of superb performances by dancers and musicians, and loads of stalls selling all manner of things. Last years carnival attracted over one million revellers from around the world, and this number is expected to be even higher next year.

Christmas in London

London certainly does not do Christmas by halves, with massive decorated trees and the most amazing Christmas lights you will ever see. Also, there are many other attractions, such as funfairs, circuses, parades, and lots of other fun events to keep you occupied. If you want to do something totally insane, you could go for a swim in the Serpentine ponds in Hyde Park along with lots of other nutcases on Christmas day, or there is always the option of doing a 5K run dressed up as Santa Claus through the park in Greenwich.

Hard Rock Calling At Hyde Park

This massive open-air rock concert is held in Hyde Park every summer, which has played host to some massive acts over the past couple of years such as Paul McCartney, The Killers, Rod Stewart, and Bon Jovi.
